Detoxification
Detox is the integral first step of recovery. For individuals suffering from substance use disorder, entering detox can be lifesaving. Medication-assisted treatment can reduce painful withdrawal symptoms. While the time it takes to detox from substances varies from person to person, detox programs are generally 3,5,7 days long. Detoxification alone does not address the psychological, social, and behavioral problems associated with addiction and therefore does not typically produce lasting behavioral changes necessary for recovery. The only way to break the cycle of addiction is through prolonged addiction treatment and maintenance.
Work therapy
All clients admitted to the center will undergo work therapy as laid down by the center counsellor, depending on the health of the clients.
Input Class (Group Counselling)
It focuses on understanding addiction, underlying issues associated with addiction, cultivating healthy habits, communication skills, relational skills, problem-solving skills, regulating psychological and emotional well-being, discovering individual potentials and capabilities, to eradicate addiction from the roots, and to live a life of honesty and integrity.
Output class
The output classes emphasize every client’s participation to express their thoughts, views, and experiences related to the input group counselling.
Personal counseling
The rehabilitation program gives great importance to personal one-on-one counselling to every client in the center.
Family counselling
The role of a family plays a vital part in the recovery process; therefore, the center greatly emphasizes the family’s participation in the rehabilitation program by monthly visitation of the loved one until their release.
Addiction is a family disease that affects the whole family. Understanding the complexity of addiction and co-dependency (co-dependency is a behavioral pattern that is sometimes called “relationship addiction”) among family members is being brought to awareness in family counselling.
Spiritual feeding
The center insists on the holistic development of an individual, where spiritual growth and maturity are vital to the rehabilitation program. Daily activities start with devotional prayers during fall-in. The 12 Steps program, which is founded on Christian principles that seek the help of a higher power, guides the individual to experience the power of God to be free from addiction. Prayer fellowship on Wednesday and Saturday evening, and Sunday devotional service are mandatory for all the clients. Programs like spiritual awakening, retreat program, seminar, etc, are being organized annually for spiritual growth and to seek and do the will of God.
