Leave/Discharge
The duration of the admitted client’s rehabilitation will be assessed based on their favorable response to counselling and their overall progress in physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being. The client’s release on trial and eventual discharge are contingent upon their recovery. When the staff observes positive changes in the individual’s physical and psychological health, wellness, and quality of life, the client may be granted a two-week leave on trial to reintegrate into their life. This leave requires a fellow client to act as a guarantor. Although the client is away from the center, they will still be observed by the local married pastor and the unmarried youth pastor. A confidential form will be sent to the church to assess their progress and behavior at home. Should the client fail to comply with the terms of their leave, the guarantor will face consequences, and the client will be required to restart the rehabilitation program from the beginning. Upon their successful return after a two-week leave, the inmates are expected to participate in operation salvage for an additional two weeks as interns. Subsequently, the client will either be released on probation or discharged, contingent upon an observed improvement in their quality of life.
Client on Probation
Upon successful completion of the two-week internship, clients transition to a probationary period. Clients on probation (COP) are permitted to reside at home and resume their professional responsibilities, with the requirement of periodic check-ins at the center on scheduled dates. During these check-ins, COP will engage in counseling sessions with their assigned counselors. Additionally, COP demonstrating a high quality of life are encouraged to share their experiences with current program participants. Clients who experience difficulties in maintaining sobriety will be required to return to the center for continued treatment.
The frequency of reporting for COP will be determined individually, based on their progress in recovery and the overall quality of life they are able to sustain.
