TO SEEK AND DO THE WILL OF GOD
We envision a society where addicts are valued and treated with dignity. Stigma, discrimination, and other barriers are eliminated. A society where addiction is recognized as a public health issue – a treatable disease. A society where the addicts seek treatment from a specialized field of expertise.
Campus Life
The day begins at 05:00 AM in the morning. With one whistle, the boys get up and come to the ground for a fall-in for morning prayer. In the afternoon, the boys get together for sports and other recreational activities. By 04:00 PM, roll call takes place on the main ground again.
Activities
Games & Sports :
Recreational activities, encompassing both indoor and outdoor games, are accessible to personnel during their designated free time throughout the day.
Classes (Input Class and Output Class) :
Classes on addiction and life skills are given from Monday to Friday
Work Therapy :
In our commitment to fostering a healthy lifestyle, we emphasize the importance of balanced nutrition, regular physical activity, and diligent hygiene practices. Consequently, each individual is expected to maintain cleanliness in their personal living space and contribute to the upkeep of the campus environment during the morning hours. To promote accountability and personal responsibility, clients are organized into groups, each assigned specific duties.
Worship Services :
Wednesday and Saturday evening, and Sunday devotional service are mandatory for all the clients
Movie Night :
Movies are telecast on Mondays and Fridays in the evening hours, as a way of exposure to the outside world
Extra-curricular activities :
The program encompasses debates and discussions on a diverse range of topics concerning life, society, and culture. Furthermore, we host “Fun-Night” on the first Tuesday of each month and “Coffee-Night” on the 18th of each month, providing clients with platforms to exhibit their talents, develop their capabilities, and foster mutual encouragement through engaging activities.
Looking to gain experience during your year gap? Or fulfill your ministerial/internship requirement for your degree? Operation Salvage Rehabilitation Center internship program is a great way to gain experience in the field of counselling and learning life lessons firsthand. We appreciate and encourage institutions and individuals to come and intern with us all year round.
Our volunteers are an integral part of our team. Each one of us has the power to bring about change in the life of another; one gentle word of advice, one touch is sometimes all it takes to bring about a lasting change.
Over the years, individuals, NGOs, Churches, institutions, and small groups have invested their skills, hearts, and minds in the lives of our brothers in treatment at our center. Through their efforts
Our volunteers have not only changed the lives of our brothers, they have been changed in many ways themselves; their outlook towards addicts and their family has changed, and they are better able to feel and understand the problem of addiction.
